Our work also includes liaison with external funding and regulatory bodies, dealing with institutional and national quality matters, collaborative partnerships and providing support for the governance and management of the University.

The Academic Registry is led by the Academic Registrar and Clerk to the Governors, William Callaway

Collaborative Partnerships Unit (CPU)

The Collaborative Partnerships Unit (CPU) provides oversight of collaborative partnership relationships, giving initial advice on developing a partnership and advising on existing partnerships.

Quality Unit

The Unit manages quality assurance for academic provision, including policy and regulation development, student casework and is responsible for providing support to the validation and review of new and existing provision.

Secretariat

The Secretariat provides support for the governance and management of the University through administration of the Board of Governors and the Academic Board and is responsible for the University Calendar, University Elections and nominations for the Conferment of Honorary Awards.

The Welsh Language Unit

The Welsh Language Unit is responsible for the translation of documents from English to Welsh and Welsh to English, implementing and monitoring the Welsh Language Scheme across the University and co-ordinating Welsh-medium course provision with University faculties.
