Examination Centre (for students of other Universities)

We act as an examination centre for candidates of other universities wishing to arrange to sit examinations at the University of South Wales.

The University is pleased to offer assistance in the conduct of paper based examinations at any of our sites at Pontypridd, Cardiff or Newport City.

We offer a high level of professionalism and a range of services including suitable accommodation and experienced Examination Invigilators.


Fees for External Examinations

The current arrangement fee is £100.00 per examination. The fee is to be paid at the time the application is made (via the below application link).

On receipt of the fee the University will put the necessary arrangements in place.

Please be advised the University requires 2 working days to cancel the examination or the fee paid will be forfeited.

Timing of Application

Normally, we request that an exam has been scheduled at their institution on a date and time that falls within our main or resit examination periods. All examinations are scheduled at the University with start times of 09:30hrs, 14:00 hrs and occasionally, 18:00 hrs.

Applications must be received by interested parties no later than one month from the start of the main or resit exams period. There is a possibility that requests received beyond these deadlines may be considered but will depend on room and staffing constraints.
