Subject External Examiners are expected to attend the Subject Assessment Board. Super Award External Examiners are expected to attend the Progression and Award Assessment Board. All External Examiners are required to submit an annual report to QAE within 4 weeks of the board attended, the details of which can be found below.
It is the responsibility of the course leader to upload completed external examiner reports with responses to their relevant course organisation on Blackboard.
The annual External Examiner Report for Subject Assessment Boards for 2020/2021 academic year is now available for Subject External Examiners.
The annual External Examiner Report for Award and Progression Boards for 2020/2021 academic is now available for Super Award External Examiners.
Please note that this must be completed online but a Sample External Examiner Report for Subject Assessment Boards and Sample External Examiner Report for Progression and Award Boards have also been made available for you to review prior to your online submission, should this be required.
In addition, the External Examiner Report for Subject Assessment Reports Addendum for 2020/21 academic year is also available for Subject External Examiners, where they have attended additional boards outside of the reporting cycle.
